How can we help?
Our products
Each brick has its own history and patina. Our ability to transform them into quality building materials is based on years of experience and careful handling.
From their unique patina to their solid structure, each brick expresses its own story, and our job is to bring that story back to life.
Bricks Again
You can now clean your demolished bricks on-site in mobile units.
GM Tech Lab
Our own laboratory tests and quality assure the reclaimed bricks so that they can be CE- marked and reused in new buildings.

Building materials must be upcycled
Every day, Gamle Mursten ensures that bricks from demolitions are not downcycled and crushed, but rather upcycled and reused as a valuable building material that brings both rustic aesthetics and history to new buildings.
Since 2003, we’ve been cleaning bricks for recycling because it’s against all common sense not to. Each recycled brick saves the environment 0.5 kg of CO2. Gamle Mursten has both an approved ETA and EAD and CE-marks bricks.
Technology and craftsmanship
Our patented vibration technology makes it possible to deliver recycled bricks on a large scale and there is high demand for our recycled bricks in new construction projects.
Through our cleaning technology and in the hands of our employees, bricks go from being wasted to a product that creates value for the environment, architecture and cultural heritage.
At Gamle Mursten we see recycled bricks as a valuable resource with great potential for innovation and creativity.
